An antique, made in France strapped metal wine vault. Made from steel, comprising of a pair of tall hinged metal doors with locking hasp.
The doors open to reveal storage for up to 150 bottles with individual slots, this safe has the supports to the back for wall mounting, C1920
These French wine vaults were originally made for commercial use, such as cates and restaurants. Today they could be used in a home or wine cellar, restaurants or bars, making a focal point of a room and conversation piece. We've also seen it used in a garden with vines.
